Project: Ford Father's Day
What Marie did:
My brief was to create a Facebook post celebrating Father's day.
As the lead creative on this small, and quite overlooked project, I wanted to "Go Further".
Taking the insight that most people learn to drive in a second hand Ford, I cast real Father's and kids to go on their real first driving lessons. Filming on the streets around their homes in Essex UK, Rome, and Paris - Giving this film it's deserved authentic feeling. Needing to appeal to a multinational audience, the film focuses on the universal emotions that everyone can relate to, rather than relying on dialogue.
And yes, the crash was real. I still have the scars to prove it.

What Marie did:
After the Ford Father's day video quickly became the most engaged with post from Ford Motor Company (without any media spend) we were given more budget and a brief to create more films in the same fly-on-the-wall style, tapping into relateable moments we all have in cars.
